pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "Vex Mythoclast at home™. This auto does pretty well at staying competitive with the likes of Headstone and the new origin trait for.clearing waves of enemies. Being another Rapid-Fire stasis auto competes with the Krait collecting dust in your vault. The difference is Veiled Threat is craftable so if you never grabbed a good Krait when it was dropping during Witch Queen or from Banshee then this auto will suffice. I dislike the model but that's not performance based." Recommended MW: Reload Speed.

Inspired by @PodvsEnemies episode 106 from 3 July 2024 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/7jGtQ3pw94PV7XpXREQ094?si=ddb5fb64813048e1) with @Saint_Kabr, @ImpetusAlways and @CourtProjects (PvE / PvE-MinorSpec / PvE-EndGame / PvE-God / M+KB / Controller): First-choice PvE pick for add clearing in end-game content, particularly for Titans using Hazardous Propulsion. Shapeable. Veiled Threat looks lovely (like Vex Mytholast had a baby!) but unfortunately drops with poor base stats compared to its peers, so if you have a Krait you're happy with you can probably pass on by. If you're shooting adds at the outer reach of its range (22.6m at base), you might appreciate a little extra stability on controller, otherwise maybe a bit of extra range or stability with the barrel perk. In the mag slot, Alloy Mag can double down on the intrinsic frame perk to reduce reload time from 1.83s to 1.24s when empty, or Tactical Mag (1.34s) or Flared Magwell (1.29s) work at any point in the magazine. For Titans who want their barricade energy as fast as possible, for use with Hazardous Propulsion's rockets, Strategist helps regenerate ability energy in the first trait perk column. Combine that with any of the damage boosting traits from column two to round things out. The Radiolaria Transposer origin trait is nice to have - the AoE damage isn't huge, but it is additional to weapon damage so what's not to like? Recommended MW: any - your preference, with a Backup Mag mod.

There's an interesting interaction between Shoot to Loot in the first trait perk column and the Radiolaria Transposer origin trait when procced - any ammo caught in the pool will be picked up. In the second, to boost damage, Desperate Measures adds up to +30% or Collective Action adds a flat +20%, and both are easy to proc with Transcendence. The Radiolaria Transposer origin trait is nice to have - the AoE damage isn't huge, but it is additional to weapon damage so what's not to like? Recommended MW: any - your preference, with a Backup Mag mod.

The Radiolaria Transposer origin trait is nice to have - the AoE damage isn't huge, but it is additional to weapon damage so what's not to like? What these Veiled Threat perks do

Headstone

Precision Kills create a Large Stasis Crystal at the target's location. Tier 1-2 Minor and Tier 1 Elite Combatants only spawn a Medium Stasis Crystal. Creating 5 Crystals within ? seconds prevents the perk from activating for 5 seconds.

Shoot to Loot

Weapon Hits against Orbs of Power collect them. If collecting ammo is possible: Weapon Hits against Ammo Bricks pick them up, trigger Ammo Pickup Effects, and refill all Weapons from reserves. Does not require direct hits.

Desperate Measures

Weapon Kills grant 'Desperate Measures x1' (DMx1), increasing damage by 10% for 7 seconds. Grenade or Melee Kills grant 20% increased damage for 7 seconds (DMx2). Scoring another Grenade or Melee Kill with DMx2 active increases this to 30% (DMx3). Can be activated while stowed. Weapon, Grenade, and Melee Kills refresh the buff duration.

Strategist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Class Ability Energy. Kills with Fusion Rifles, Glaives, Shotguns, and Sniper Rifles grant 20%. Class Ability usage grants ? Stability for ? seconds. Ability energy gained may be significantly decreased based on your selected ability's Chunk Energy Scalar. Learn more about this mechanic in our explainer blog post on the Clarity website.

To the Pain

Every 30 points of damage taken with the weapon readied grants a Stack of 'To the Pain'. Maximum of 10 Stacks. Stowing the weapon removes all Stacks. Each Stack grants ? Handling and 2 Aim Assist, maxing out at ? Handling and 20 Aim Assist. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Moving Target

Grants the following while Aiming Down Sights (ADS): • 10 Aim Assist • 10% decreased ADS Movement Speed Penalty

Fragile Focus

Passively grants 20 Range but deactivates if you drop to 0 Shield HP (Critical Health). Buff reactivates 1 second after your Shields HP fully regenerates.

Threat Detector

Grants 1|2 Stacks while within 15 meters of 1|2+ enemies. Bonuses at 1|2 Stacks: • 15|40 Stability • 18|60 Reload Speed • 25|100 Handling • 0.9x|0.81x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier

Alloy Magazine

Linearly grants a Reload Duration Multiplier as your magazine drops from 50% capacity to empty. Reload Duration Multiplier scales from 0.9x at 50% capacity to 0.8x with an empty magazine.

Collective Action

Elemental Pickup Interactions grant 30% [10%] increased damage for a variable duration based on the pickup. Can be activated while stowed. Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, and Tangle Detonations grant the buff for 4 seconds. Throwing a held Tangle grants 4 additional seconds. Firesprites and Void Breaches grant the buff for 8 seconds. Additional Pickups can extend the duration up to the maximum of 16 seconds. Elemental Pickup Interactions: • Destroying a Tangle (or Elemental Orbs), either by shooting or throwing. • Collecting Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, or Void Breaches Does not trigger with Stasis Shards generated from Facet of Awakening or Facet of Command.

Surrounded

Being within 15 meters of 3 Enemies grants 40% increased damage. Buff lingers for 1.5 seconds once the condition is no longer met. Exceptions: • Swords only receive a 35% damage increase. • Grenade and Rocket Launchers receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase and a 40% Impact Damage increase. • Wolfpack Rounds receive a 35% Explosive Damage increase.
