pandapaxxy (PvE / M+KB / Controller): "VS Gravatic Arrest has some steep competition. Royal Executioner, Techeun Force, Pressurized Precision, heck even Trinary System. Does Withering Gaze do enough to give it a spot in your loadout? Well it does apply the Weaken debuff for the low low cost of one ammo. That alone for any damage rotation will be highly helpful. It doesn't do anything flashy like double damage perks or infinite ammo, but it does make dealing damage easier. If you're not hurting for vault space then I would recommend grabbing one, otherwise it's a wash and you can apply Weaken through other means." Recommended MW: Charge Time.

Until a nerf, any special weapon with these perks is going to be a standout special. Kickstart, To the Pain, and Fragile Focus all agree that Closing Time is just that good." VS Gravitic Arrest is the first ever legendary void adaptive FR in D2 so, if you've been yearning for one, your wait is over! The stats are on the low side though. At base, 34 Range equates to 15.73m while ADS and 12.10m hipfire, 30 Handling is 0.46s ready, 0.36s ADS speed and 0.36s stow speed, while the Reload Speed of 31 is a 2.27s reload. With 0/1/2/3 reserves, you have 20/23/26/27 total ammo. For the barrel perk, Arrowhead Brake or Fluted Barrel pump up the Handling stat. Enhanced Battery gots you to 7 shots or Ionized Battery provides 8 in as the battery perk. TBH, most of the trait perks are PvP focused, but there''s a nice trait perk synergy between Demolitionist and Chain Reaction - you'll get 20% (22% when enhanced) grenade energy from Chain Reaction kills, and then use your grenade for an instant reload. The Bray Legacy origin trait is useful in PvE, working in the background to add ability energy to the one closest to a full charge on every tick of weapon damage. Recommended MW: Handling, with a Backup Mag mod or, when masterworked, a Tactical mod for bumps to handling and Reload Speed, Synergy to generate Void Breaches, or Stunloader when there's a matching artifact mod.|tags:PvE PvE-MinorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller

Every 30 points of damage taken with the weapon readied grants a Stack of 'To the Pain'. Maximum of 10 Stacks. Stowing the weapon removes all Stacks. Each Stack grants ? Handling and 2 Aim Assist, maxing out at ? Handling and 20 Aim Assist. Self-damage and environmental damage do not count.

Demolitionist

Weapon Kills grant 10% Grenade Ability Energy. Kills with Sniper Rifles, Shotguns, Glaives, and Fusion Rifles grant 20%. Using your Grenade Ability refills the Magazine with a 3 second cooldown.
