Inspired by @CourtProjects, @Saint_Kabr and and @ImpetusAlways (PvE PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controller): First-choice PvE roll for burst damage against Banes, Elites, Champions and Minibosses in both general at-level or better, and end-game underleveled content, particularly for arc builds. Bitter End is a Balanced Heat frame LMG, with a rapid-fire firing rate, which are rated D-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic for having significantly worse base total damage than other LMGs due to total ammo reserves of only 433. The heat frame is like an extra perk set, first providing reduced heat generation, significantly increasing the number of shots before overheating, and providing a pseudo-Reconstruction, automatically "refilling" as the weapon loses heat when not being used. Additionally, there's an intrinsic ×1.15 damage boost against orange and yellow bars and vehicles, plus a ×2 vent rate if you manually reload when the heat bar is at >87.5% of maximum heat to proc Perfect Vent, as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. The stats are weird by comparison with other rapid-fire LMGs - see https://d2foundry.gg/w/954563454 for how the weapon stats impact in-game performance, once the formulas have been worked out. With the high base stability you should be able to control the recoil and focus on Handling with the barrel perk. For the heatsink perk, look for something that reduces heat generation, or improves cooling efficiency or vent speed. To pair with the arc toolkit, in the first trait perk column you could look for Trickle Charge to refill 10% of the magazine on receiving a stack of Bolt Charge, and 20% when you discharge with a lightning bolt on a target, or use Ionic Traces to proc Cooling Baubles which reduces weapon heat by 33% for each Elemental pickup or power orb collected. Alternatively, there's Attrition Orbs to spawn a power orb after 45-50 hits within 5s of each other (so that's an orb every 3-4s) to proc armour mods. For additional damage against tougher enemies, Jolting Feedback - applies Jolt after 16 hits (14 when enhanced and 11 when amplified) to tougher enemies who can survive the weapon damage, triggering chain lightning on further hits for both target and AoE damage. If there are adds nearby, you could also use Killing Tally which gains a stack for each enemy killed up to ×3 to boost damage by up to ×1.3 until you reload or stow, or One For All which boosts damage by ×1.35 for a non-refreshable 10s (11s when enhanced) after hitting three separate targets within 3s of each. The Origin Trait, Imperial Allegiance grants a stack for each ally in 15m, up to ×3, to boost both the cooling rate and damage when heat is >50% by up to a max of ×1.105, so is ideal for working in a fireteam. If you're interested, this is modelled on on the Z-6 rotary blaster cannon used by Hevy in the Clone Wars series. Recommended MW: Cooling Efficiency, with a Heat Generated mod or your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.|tags:PvE PvE-MajorSpec PvE-EndGame PvE-God M+KB Controllerdimwishlist:item=954563454&perks=1840239774,807993149,1115162408,3966416502

SpaceMonkey (PvE): "The idea of a blaster machine gun with built in reconstruction (via cooling) is very cool. However column 1 misses so hard for this gun it's hard to reconcile. With trickle charge this gun is kind of a baby thunderlord when shooting from behind a storm's keep barricade, but that's a very specific use case. Overall this should be a good gun, just like all the weapons from the dungeon, but it could have been better." Recommended MW: Cooling Efficiency, Handling, Reload.

Inspired by https://www.youtube.com/@cammycakesgaming (PvP PvP-KillChain PvP-God M+KB Controller): God-roll PvP for kill-chaining when hipfiring. Bitter End is, right now, an S-Tier heavy weapon option - at the time of writing you'll pick up 75 shots from a brick which is enough for 10 kills, which feels like a mistake so expect that to be nerfed. It's a Heat weapon - which means you get an ersatz Reconstruction for free from the passive cooling - with a rapid-fire fire rate. The Balanced Heat frame provides a ×2 vent rate if you manually vent when weapon heat is >87.5%. The @hugowo_ spreadsheet at https://www.destiny2.science/, shows the TTK at base as 0.400s (7c0b) - increasing the weapons stat doesn't reduce this, but at 142 does mean you'll need less crits (6c1b). The 80% crit accuracy-adjusted TTK is 0.467s (4c4b), which becomes is easier at a 122 weapon stat (3c5b) and then 194 (2c6b). The stats are decent compared to other rapid fire LMGs - higher Range, Stability and Recoil Direction but lower Handling. You can see the in-game effect of stat changes at https://d2foundry.gg/w/954563454 for yourself, once the formulas have been worked out. For the barrel perk, you could go either Handling, or Range if you're using Shrewd Survivor armour for the two-piece Reflex Action set bonus to boost Handling and Accuracy. For the Battery Perk, Ionized Heatsink reduces heat generation, and the manual vent penalty isn't so much of problem with the passive cooling. If you avoid ADSing, in the first trait perk column there's both Delicate Tuning, which works like a Heat weapon's mirror to Closing Time, improving Range and Handling, and reducing Accuracy Cone Growth from when the weapon's cold to 50% heat, or Hip-fire Grip to boost Aim Assist and damage falloff distance, Stability, and Aim Assist when hipfiring. In the second, Offhand Strike boosts Range, Stability and Accuracy for 7s after a kill. The Imperial Allegiance origin trait is situationally useful if you're near one, two or three teammates when heat is >50%, boosting both cooling efficiency and damage by up to ×1.105, but Accelerated Assault is probably better, proccing 10% cooling and ×1.05 damage when you hit 3 times with 1.2-4s between each hit. Recommended MW: Handling or Cooling Efficiency, with a Heat Generated mod/enhanced mod, or your choice depending on your play style.|tags:PvP PvP-KillChain PvP-God M+KB Controller

For the Battery Perk, Ionized Heatsink reduces heat generation, and the manual vent penalty isn't so much of problem with the passive cooling. For kill-chaining, the double damage trait perk pair of Gutshot Straight grants ×1.1 bodyshot damage when ADSed at the price of ×0.8 sized aim assist cone size - which means you can hit the 0.467s TTK with no crits needed (0c8b), and Killing Tally for an escalating boost to damage of up to ×1.3 damage after three kills - just one stack reduces the TTK to 0.400s (2c5b) and two or three stacks means you need no crits again (0c7b). What these Bitter End perks do

Killing Tally

Weapon Kills grant a Stack of Killing Tally. Maximum of 3 Stacks. Stowing or reloading the weapon removes all Stacks. Damage increase at 1|2|3 Stacks: • PVE: 10% | 20% | 30% • PVP: 5% | 10% | 15%

Gutshot Straight

Delicate Tuning

Grants linearly decreasing benefits as Weapon Heat increases from 0% to 50%: • 20 to 10 Range • ? to ? Handling • ? to ? decreased Accuracy Cone Growth

Offhand Strike

Weapon Kills grant the following benefits to hip-firing for 7 seconds: • 30 Stability • 45% increased Damage Falloff Distance • ~3° larger Precision Aim Angle • 95%? decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 95%? decreased Accuracy Cone Growth. Buff is removed on stow.

Hip-Fire Grip

Grants the following benefits while hipfiring: • 25 Stability and 15 Aim Assist • 2.7° larger Precision Aim Cone Angle • 30% decreased Accuracy Cone Size • 20% increased Aim Assist Falloff Distance • 20% increased Damage Falloff Distance The Damage Falloff increase does not apply to The Last Word, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, and Fusion Rifles. PvP-specific note: the Precision Aim Cone Angle increase essentially just allows you to hit Crits while aimed above or slightly to the side of the head. (This is already the default behavior of Submachine Guns, Sidearms, Bows, Machine Guns, and Linear Fusion Rifles so it does not affect them)

Trickle Charge

Receiving Bolt Charge refills 10% of the magazine. Does not currently dissipate Heat for Heat Weapons. Discharging Bolt Charge refills 20% of the magazine. Dissipates 100% Heat on Heat Weapons. Works while stowed.

One for All

Scoring Weapon Hits against 3 Separate Enemies within 3 seconds of each grants 35% increased damage for 10 seconds. Does not require Direct Hits. Buff duration cannot be refreshed.

Cooling Baubles

Collecting an Orb of Power or Elemental Pickup dissipates 33% Weapon Heat. Elemental Pickups include Firesprites, Ionic Traces, Stasis Shards, Tangles, and Void Breaches.

Jolting Feedback

Scoring multiple Direct Hits with the weapon within 3 seconds of each causes the next Direct Hit to apply Jolt. Being Amplified decreases the number of Hits required. Hits needed to activate normally | while Amplified: • Submachine Guns, Trace Rifles: 18 | 13 • Machine Guns: 16 | 11 • Auto Rifles: 15 | 11 • Pulse Rifles: 14 | 9 • Sidearms: 10 | 7 • Rocket Pulse Rifle: 8 | 5 • Scout Rifles, Hand Cannons: 7 | 6 • Swords: 6 | 4 • Glaives, Linear Fusion Rifles: 4 | 3 • Rocket Sidearm, Sniper Rifle?: 4 | 2 • Bows, Grenade Launchers: 3 | 2 • Shotguns, Aggressive Frame Fusion Rifle: 3|1

Attrition Orbs

Scoring multiple Hits against enemies within 5 seconds of each spawns an Orb of Power that grants 0.8% Super Energy. Does not require Direct Hits. Hit counter persists through stow. Hit requirements for activation: • Rocket Launchers: 2 hits • Heavy Grenade Launchers: 3 Hits • Wave-Frame Grenade Launchers: 4 hits • Bows: 4 Hits • Swords: 5 Hits • Area-Denial Grenade Launchers: 26 Hits • Others: 55% of Magazine Size rounded down + 1 Support Frame Auto Rifle healing round Hits on damaged allies count as 2 Hits.

Rolling Storm

Weapon Kills grant 1 Stack of Bolt Charge. While Amplified, this is increased to 2 Stacks.

Eddy Current

Grants the following after sprinting for 1.5 seconds with the weapon readied: • 20 Reload Speed • 0.95x Reload Duration Multiplier • ? Handling • 0.95x Handling Animation Duration Multiplier Sprinting refreshes the buff duration. Being Amplified removes the sprinting requirement and increases the Reload Speed stat bonus to 60.

Overclocked Heatsink

Passively grants 2% increased damage and 10 decreased Cooling Efficiency stat.
