Inspired by @PodvsEnemies Podcast vs Enemies episode 79 (https://open.spotify.com/episode/1qz5FD88RfmGHDjedV6nGo?si=7e1c1558ecea4f1c) with @ImpetusAlways, @Saint_Kabr and @CourtProjects. First-choice PvE pick for add-clear against chunkier Minor Spec enemies and the occasional major in end-game content. Barrel and Mag re-shapeable. There's a lot of competition in the arc LMGs, and Song of Ir Yût has lower than average stats but saves itself with some nice trait perk combinations. Handling makes most weapons feel better - Fluted Barrel adds the most, but Arrowhead Brake also helps max out the recoil direction in the barrel perk slot. For the magazine perk, you can choose the combat effect mag of your preference, or maybe go with Appended Mag or Flared Magwell to round out the stats further. As the first trait column support perk, Unrelenting as the second column signature perk is great in end-game content for healing you and keeping you in a fight. You've got a pretty big mag, so you can use it to start and then escalate the new-to-season-22 Sword Logic perk damage tiers to rip through Minor Spec adds and the occasional Major. Maybe not so useful with this roll, but the Cursed Thrall origin perk synergises well with melee builds and is a lot of fun for helping soften up groups of enemies when active. Recommended MW: Handling or Range, with a damage boosting (Minor, Adept Big Ones or Taken Spec) or Backup Mag mod.|tags: PvE, PvE-MinorSpec, PvE-EndGame, PvE-God, M+KB, Controller

First-choice PvE pick for burst damage against Major Spec enemies and sustained damage against Boss Spec enemies in end-game content. Barrel and Mag re-shapeable. There's a lot of competition in the arc LMGs, and Song of Ir Yût has lower than average stats but saves itself with some nice trait perk combinations. What these Song of Ir Yût (Adept) perks do

Sword Logic

Weapon Kills grant Stacks of Sword Logic. The number of Stacks and the buff duration are tied to the highest Enemy Rank killed since activation: • Minors: 1 Stack for 5.5 seconds • Elites, Players: 2 Stacks for 7.5 seconds • Players in their Super and Minibosses: 3 Stacks for 10.5 seconds • Bosses: 4 Stacks for 15.5 seconds Damage increase at 1|2|3|4 Stacks: 15% | 25% [15%] | 35% | 50% Additional Kills refresh the buff duration to the duration tied to the highest Enemy Rank killed.

High-Caliber Rounds

Hits inflict increased Flinch on Enemies. PVE: Tier 1-2 Minors can be repeatedly staggered. Higher Tier Combatants stagger quicker. PVP: Flinch against Players varies based on damage and Weapon Archetype. Flinch increase ranges between 5-10%.

Unrelenting

Starts Health Regeneration and restores 65 HP upon reaching 100% Activation Progress with Weapon Kills within 5 seconds of each. Activation Progress by Enemy Rank: • Minor Combatants: 34% • Players: 67% • Elites, Minibosses, and Bosses: 100%

Armor-Piercing Rounds

Grants 5% increased damage against Elemental and Barrier Champion Shields. Allows bullets to overpenetrate enemies once.

Rewind Rounds

Upon emptying the Magazine: Refills 60% of the number of Hits landed (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Hits are counted from either your last reload or the last time the perk was triggered. Does not require Direct Hits. Requires firing 28.75% of the Magazine Capacity for the refill to activate. Cannot load the Magazine beyond its base capacity. Hits after triggering a refill do not count while the Rewind Rounds buff is active (1? second). Adaptive Burst Linear Fusion Rifle behavior: • Each individual bolt in the burst counts as a Hit • Refill amount is uniquely 14% of the number of Hits rounded up (numbers are subject to change once we get more data points)

Reconstruction

Every 6 seconds while not firing the weapon: Loads 25% of the Magazine Capacity (rounded up) into the Magazine from reserves. Can overfill the Magazine up to double the normal capacity. Works even while stowed.

Bait and Switch

Dealing damage with a weapon starts a 7 second timer. Dealing additional weapon damage resets the timer to 7 seconds. Dealing damage with all 3 of your weapons without letting the timer run out grants you 'Bait and Switch' for 10 seconds, granting 30% increased damage. Timer is disabled while Bait and Switch is active, requiring a full activation sequence once the buff expires.

Target Lock

Successive Hits within 0.2 seconds of each grant a ramping Damage Buff after scoring 12.5% of the Magazine Capacity as hits. Missing deactivates the buff. Stacks displayed on-screen are only visual aides, the buff ramps up with each shot once active. Reaches maximum strength at 5 Stacks. % of the Magazine Capacity as Hits required for each Visual Stack: 12.5%|35.5%|54.5%|74.5%|110.33% Damage Buff ramps up from 16.73% [10.46%] to 40% [25%] upon reaching maximum strength. Assuming no missed shots, it provides roughly a 25% [15.85%] Damage Buff on average after firing 100% of the Magazine Capacity.
